The creation of a new event at Seepix was carried out manually, following a step-by-step guide, and there were some people who knew the procedure well, the risk was that few people mastered this creation. It was necessary to look for a more automated way of creating an event, for two reasons: first, other people could create the event without much difficulty, and second, the time saved in creating it could be used in another task.
In meetings with people who understand the creation of a manual event, it was possible to identify the processes to be automated. We mapped out the points that needed to be automated and improved and looked for the best way to carry out this process. We built a tailored solution using a CI/CD pipeline and the implementation of Kubernetes, which includes a complete monitoring suite, reducing event creation time and monthly infrastructure costs and facilitating the visualization of access metrics .
