The creation of a new event at Seepix was done manually, following a strict step-by-step process, and only a few people knew the procedure well. The risk was that only a few people mastered this creation. It was necessary to find a more automated way to create an event, for two reasons: first, other people could create the event without much difficulty, and second, the time saved in creating it could be used for another task.
In meetings with people who understood the manual event creation process well, it was possible to identify the processes to be automated. We mapped out the points that needed to be automated and improved, and sought the best way to carry out this process. We built a tailor-made solution using a CI/CD pipeline and implementing Kubernetes, which includes a complete monitoring suite, reducing the time to create the event and the monthly infrastructure cost, and facilitating the visualization of access metrics.
